Bodegas Perica is a family owned vineyard with strong traditional values that traces its origins back to 1912. Don Juan García, the winery's founder, sold wine both for local consumption and in the neighboring towns. Due to its success, his son David García, nickname "Perica", inherited the project and consolidated it by giving it his nickname.
Currently the third generation is leading the project. Perica's offspring have undertaken important reforms in the winery to take advantage of the latest technologies in wine making and open its doors to wine lovers and tourists with an interest in the inner workings of a family owned winery.
Bodegas Perica currently owns more than 140 hectares of vineyards in the best areas of Rioja Alta, and thus enjoying the advantage of a total control over grape growing, harvesting and winery operations.
